Since Danielle and Wade's humble beginnings in 1995, they have been committed to handcrafting sustainable jewelry with deep meaning as a reaction to the proliferation of factory-made, mass-produced fashion jewelry that is so common in the industry. Each piece is created with intention in mind- becoming personable to the wearer. Because we live in such a throwaway society, Pyrrha is dedicated to creating jewelry that will be kept and treasured.
Inspired by a collection of Victorian wax seals found while digging through a box of old letters at an estate sale, Pyrrha's talismans were born from a desire to give the fragile antique seals new life and permanence. While Danielle and Wade design and create the imagery for their pieces, they are rooted in that original connection to the past.
Both Danielle and Wade always come from a place of caring for the environment. Pyrrha is an extension of their shared belief in sustainability — something that matters deeply to them. Pyrrha has since made those values official by becoming a B Corp, achieving Responsible Jewellery Council certification, being a Living Wage employer, a 1% for the Planet member, and being Butterfly Mark certified by Positive Luxury.
