BEFORE: A "NOT MY STYLE" multi-generational ring
Lady D's grandma passed the diamonds on to Lady D's mom...who made them into a dome ring that just didn't speak to Lady D. But, she wanted to retain certain elements of the ring in a pendant style.
DESIGN CONCEPT: RECYCLED WHITE GOLD AND DIAMONDS WITH A NOD TO THE PAST
Initial design concept for Lady D's pendant: recycled white gold, with the texture from the original ring (to signify mom); diamonds from grandma...and sterling silver to represent Lady D herself. A circle to tie together the 3 generations.
IN PROCESS: Diamonds being set in same order as in original ring
The white gold has been melted down and reworked into its final shape by goldsmith Molly; the new silver has been joined to it to form an open circle...now it's diamond setting time!
