Featuring Alara’s In-House Designers: Molly & Mike

MEET THE ARTISTS BEHIND THE BENCH

ArtWalk | FRIDAY, JULY 11 | 6p to 8p

the jewelry heroes of our atelier

They’re the ones who bring broken jewelry back to life, who tighten diamonds no bigger than a grain of sand, who transform heirlooms with the kind of care only a true artisan can give. Mike and Molly are the skilled hands and thoughtful hearts behind Alara’s in-house Atelier—the team trusted with everything from delicate repairs to one-of-a-kind custom creations.

But what many don’t know is this: Mike and Molly aren’t just master craftsmen. They’re designers. And not just any designers—both have created original collections for Alara that flew off the shelves shortly after being showcased. This ArtWalk, we’re putting their artistry front and center.

Molly: Nature in Her Hands

Molly’s collection draws inspiration from the wild landscapes of Montana—the places she spends her weekends fishing, bow-hunting, or camping. Her pieces reflect the natural world with a subtlety and elegance that’s both unexpected and unforgettable.

Every ring in her collection is classically beautiful, capturing nature’s details without ever feeling literal or forced. And yes—these rings have already found their way onto a number of happy fingers.

Molly somehow manages to balance this design brilliance with running all the things in the Atelier. We’re incredibly proud that she’s chosen to make her jewelry home at Alara.

Meet Molly and see her designs in person at ArtWalk!

Mike: From the Gallery Floor to the Bench

If Mike looks familiar, it’s because he started on the gallery floor, helping customers find just the right piece. Now, as Alara’s first official State of Montana Jeweler Apprenticeship Graduate, he’s taken everything he learned from working directly with clients and channeled it into a sell-out collection.

As part of his apprenticeship, Mike was required to design a collection and successfully sell it at Alara. Using his insider perspective, he crafted a line of hand-made pieces that resonate deeply, particularly with men—pieces that are strong, wearable, and thoughtfully designed.

Come say hey to Mike at ArtWalk—and ask him about his journey from sales to the bench while you see his collection in person!
