Kelly was born and raised in Eastern North Carolina, a stone’s throw from the beaches of the Outer Banks. An avid beachcomber with a particular interest in sea glass, her designs evoke the nautical, windswept nature of the coast with a whimsical, washed-ashore quality.
She manipulates silk with crochet and knotting techniques to string together pearls and gems, creating pieces that are versatile and eye-catching. Equally at home on the beach or out on the town, Kelly’s pieces can be mixed and matched for a look that is earthy and timeless.
When she’s not creating, Kelly can be found behind the front desk at a small-town family practice, walking a shoreline seeking treasures and artifacts, or adopting feral cats.
