METEORITE
Meteorite is composed of metals which were formed in space 4 billion years ago, and are composed of an iron-nickel alloy containing significant amounts of cobalt and phosphorus.
GIBEON
Although it fell in prehistoric times, it was ‘discovered’ in 1838 and named after the nearest town Gibeon, Namibia. As of 2004, the Namibian government banned export of all fragments, increasing the value while making it even harder to come by.
Cold hard facts:
- materials: silver frame, 18K yellow gold rivets, leather strap
- watch face: Gibeon meteorite
